Happy Birthday, Bruce!

I'm listening to fireworks outside my window and thinking of our 4th of July brother, and how you were so afraid of the Florida thunderstorms as a preschooler.  I have one mental picture of that time of you running across the lawn screaming with both hands clamped over your ears.

Sometimes I think about how challenging it must have been for you growing up in a family with three sisters, always outnumbered; but then I think about what a wonderful man you've become and I wonder if putting up with all those females helped shape you into the patient and kind yet effective leader.

We are proud to be your sisters!  Happy Birthday!

Angie, it looks like I messed up when I was dragging and dropping pictures around on the post...somehow I managed to cut off your smiling face. ...will see if I can correct it.

Got any fun pictures of Bruce to share with the rest of us? Let me know if you do, and I'll send you a fresh invitation so you can upload them to this blog.

Aunt Sandy,
Uncle Bruce may have had to put up with three sisters, but from what my mom tells me, he had his fair share of pranking and fun!

All I can say is it was a good thing that I kept my room so clean and well kept. I tried to set a postive example for my sisters.

Also my trips to the bathroom and back to my bedroom proved challenging at times..... I'm lucky there were no psychological scars ....
